CURRICULUM & ASSESSMENT
I design and review curriculum by aligning learning outcomes, teaching activities, assessment tasks and graduate capabilities. The objective is to make assessment academically rigorous, professionally relevant and understandable to students.
CAPABILITIES
Course and unit design, mapping and review
Constructive alignment and scaffolded learning
Authentic cases, simulations and workplace evidence
Rubric development and criterion-based marking
Moderation, benchmarking and continuous improvement
Academic-integrity processes and responsible AI guidance
ASSESSMENT PHILOSOPHY
Good assessment should show what a student can understand, apply, analyse and communicate—not merely what can be reproduced. I combine clear instructions, staged feedback, transparent standards and evidence-based moderation. In an AI-enabled environment, assessment should require contextual judgement, explanation of reasoning, verification of sources and meaningful connection with professional practice.
